Audi now has only 3 models on sale in India

Audi now has only three models on sale in India. These include the A6, Q8 and A8 L.

The A3, A4, A5, Q5 and Q7 have been removed from the brand's website. Reports suggest that only the next generation or facelift versions of these models could get BS6 engines.

Audi did not upgrade the ubiquitous 2.0-litre diesel engine to meet BS6 regulations. As a result, the carmaker currently has only two petrol engines in its portfolio.

The A6 is available with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 241 BHP @ 5,000-6,500 rpm and 370 Nm @ 1,600-4,500 rpm. The A8 L and Q8 come with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol unit that develops 335 BHP and 500 Nm.
