Audi A6 facelift to be launched on August 20

Audi will launch the A6 facelift in India on August 20, 2015. The car will compete against the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series and Jaguar XF.

The A6 gets a restyled front grille and bumper and new LED headlamps as standard. The car is also expected to get Audi's Matrix headlight technology and dynamic turn indicators. At the rear, there is a pair of revised LED tail lamp clusters, a redesigned bumper with restyled exhausts and a chrome strip running along the lower edge of the boot lid. The car is also expected to get a new set of alloy wheels.

On the inside, the A6 is expected to receive minor changes if any and an updated infotainment system with a retractable 8-inch touchscreen and MMI navigation plus.

Audi is expected to use 2.0-litre petrol (TFSI) and diesel (TDI) engines to power the A6 facelift in India. Both engines will be mated to automatic transmissions.
