Ather Dot home charging point launched

Ather Energy has introduced a new home charging point called Ather Dot. The new charger will be available for Ather 450 customers in Chennai and Bangalore.

Ather Dot is equipped with surge protection and authenticated power transfer. It can be monitored using a mobile app and has an auto cut-off feature.

Ather Dot delivers a 60 V, 12 A DC supply. The unit weighs 3.5 kg and comes with a 2 m output cable. Ather claims that it takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge the battery to 80%. Charging the battery from 0-100% takes 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Installation of Ather Dot costs Rs. 1,800. This includes GST, standard installation, consumables and labour charges. The unit comes with a user manual for easy installation.
