Ather 450 gets dark theme dashboard as part of OTA update

Ather Energy has rolled out the seventh over-the-air (OTA) update for the Ather 450. The latest update also includes a dark theme for the instrument cluster.

According to Ather Energy, the dark theme reduces the glare from the instrument cluster especially while riding at night. Riders can manually select the light and dark themes from the settings menu or it can be set to Auto, which switches on the dark mode between 6 pm and 6 am. The light mode is activated during daytime.

A new 'Save previous ride mode' has also been introduced. It automatically selects the last used riding mode on the dashboard. Besides this, the latest update is also said have improved the keyboard response.
