Aston Martin DB11 previewed in India

Aston Martin recently organized a private preview of the DB11 in New Delhi for a few potential customers. This is the first of many previews that will take place in various cities, before the car is officially launched in the country. Interestingly, the luxury grand tourer has just recently entered production.

Aston Martin globally unveiled the DB11 at this year's Geneva Motor Show. It is a successor to the DB9, which has been on sale for over 12 years. It is also the first car launched under the British automaker's 'Second Century' plan, which aims to expand the brand's reach in various global markets by launching new products and refreshing the existing model line-up.

Powering the Aston Martin DB11 is a 5.2-litre, twin-turbo, V12 engine that develops 600 BHP and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed ZF-sourced transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The company claims that the DB11 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 322 km/h.
