4th-gen Kia Carnival MPV revealed

Kia has taken the wraps off the fourth generation Carnival MPV. It will be launched in international markets in Q3 2020.

Kia refers to the new Carnival as a "Grand Utility Vehicle". It has a longer bonnet and shorter overhangs. The car features Kia's tiger nose grille with a diamond-mesh pattern and chrome inserts. The slim headlamp clusters house rectangular LEDs and stepped LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the new model gets an LED light bar that stretches across the width of the car and slim tail lamp units. It retains the sliding rear doors and has a redesigned C-pillar.

Kia hasn't released images of the interior yet. However, leaked images have already surfaced online. The images reveal a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and dual displays similar to the Mercedes S-Class. It is expected to get captain seats in the second row and air-conditioning vents for both the second and third row passengers.

Kia hasn't announced the powertrains that will be offered in the new Carnival. However, reports suggest that it could get 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid and 2.5-litre turbo petrol engine options.
