30,000km service of my XUV700 AWD: A very pleasant experience

Was very happy to see the staff work with right equipment and care.

XUV700 AWD 30,000 kms service update:

My 700 was due for the 30,000kms service, 1st of the paid service, and I went ahead and booked an appointment with my trusted Chrome Motors on Mysore Road, Bangalore.

Here is a brief of the work done and the experience at Chrome:

Work done as part of scheduled service:

• Engine oil change - Ultra V4
• Rear Axle oil change - Same oil as the one used for PTU
• AC cabin filter change
• Software update/Recalls - None in my case.

My requests:

• DEF top up - took 10L
• Proactive wiper blade change - all three.
• Few specific inspections like underbody, mounts etc. - Checked out all good.

Chrome Motors Experience:

Chrome did a fantastic job through and through - right from handling the appointment booking process with prompt and proactive communications then followed by the SA who had pre ordered the wipers and also personally oversaw each of my requests and explained the findings and then the technician who was on the floor doing all the grease-work and turned around the car in 3.5 hrs. flat on a busy day.

Was very happy to see the staff work with right equipment and care - plunger was used for rear axle oil fill and all the delicate/critical fasteners like the engine oil drain plug, rear axle drain and fill plugs etc. were first fastened by hand and then using the torque wrench. Well done Chrome, and you make the ownership experience of our M&M vehicles so much more better.
