Aprilia RS 457, Tuono 457 now get a 4-year / 48,000 km warranty

The warranty cover repairs related to manufacturing or assembly defects, replacement of faulty components, and labour costs.

Aprilia has upgraded the standard warranty for the RS 457 and Tuono 457. The bikes are now available with a 4-year / 48,000 km warranty, which is transferrable.

Initially, the RS 457 and Tuono 457 came with a 3-year / 36,000 km warranty. New customers can now avail of an additional coverage of 1 year / 12,000 km. It will cover repairs related to manufacturing or assembly defects, replacement of faulty components, and labour costs.

The announcement comes following reports of issues related to the 457cc parallel-twin engine that powers the RS 457 and Tuono 457. Following an investigation, Aprilia concluded that the issues faced by select customers were due to unauthorized aftermarket modifications and irregular service schedules.

The Aprilia RS 457 was launched in India in December 2023. It is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier this year, Aprilia introduced the Tuono 457, which is a naked version of the RS 457.
