100 Suzuki Hayabusa superbikes sold in just 1 hour

The second lot of the 2021 Hayabusa flew off the shelves faster than the first batch did a few months back.

Suzuki had opened bookings for the second batch of the 2021 Hayabusa on July 1. Well, stocks didn't last long and the bike is said to have been sold out in just an hour.

Suzuki launched the 2021 Hayabusa in India earlier this year. In the first batch, the bike maker imported 101 units, which were sold out in just a couple of days. The second batch consisted of 100 motorcycles.

The third generation Hayabusa comes with an updated fairing and is 2 kg lighter than its predecessor. It gets a revised instrument cluster with an LCD screen in the centre, launch control, active speed limiter and cruise control.

The new Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc, four-stroke, fuel-injected liquid-cooled DOHC, in-line four-cylinder engine that delivers 187 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. This engine complies with BS6 emission norms.
