29,000 km in a year with my 2024 Duke 390: 2 niggles I have noticed

I'm hearing a mild clicking noise from the engine head.

Another update before my Duke goes through a major service at 29k kilometres.

Went for a weekend ride to a 110 acre coconut farm run by a friend of mine's family. It's a remote place on the north coast of Andhra Pradesh adjoining a beach.

I had so much fun riding through some trails there. As usual the Duke did well.

There are two pressing issues that need to be resolved in the next service.

1. The left side indicator on the rear stopped working. So, every time I use the left indicator, I see a warning on the dash that goes away only after switching to the right indicator. The front left indicator is flashing rapidly when using it and so are the other indicators if I turn on hazard lights.

2. I'm hearing a mild clicking noise from the engine head. I don't hear it much when running in low revs because of my helmet but when revving high, I can definitely feel it pronounced. I'm guessing I should get the shim clearance done or maybe replace the timing chain as well.
