2025 Kia EV6 facelift globally unveiled

Prices for the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift in South Korea start at around $40,500

Kia has unveiled the 2025 EV6 facelift in its home market of South Korea. The newly updated Kia EV6 facelift features a number of changes, both in terms of exterior and interior updates, along with an upgraded powertrain.

Starting off with the exteriors, the EV6 facelift now features a newly designed set of headlamps with angular LED DRLs - more in line with those on the EV9 and the upcoming EV3. The 2025 EV6 also gets an upgraded bumper and grille area, as well as a new black & silver alloy wheel design, offered in 19 and 20-inch options. The side and rear remain mostly unchanged, with just minor tweaks.

Inside, the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift now features a curved screen housing both the digital instrument cluster and the central infotainment display. The EV also gets an updated two-spoke steering wheel. Other features include a digital rear-view mirror, improved head-up display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto tech. What's new, is a fingerprint reader, which can register the driver, allowing them to start the EV even without the key.

The major update on the EV6 facelift though, is the larger 84 kWh battery pack, which replaces the old 77.4 kWh pack. As per Kia, the RWD version of the EV6 facelift now offers an improved range of 494 km, with the electric motors producing 225 BHP and 350 Nm. The dual motor version produces a higher power & torque output of 320 BHP and 605 Nm, respectively. In terms of charging, the updated battery pack now supports up to 350 kW DC fast charging capabilities - translating to 10-80% charge in 18 minutes.

Prices for the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift in South Korea start at around $40,500 and go all the way up to $46,000 for the GT-Line. Kia will also introduce the EV6 facelift in international markets at a slightly later stage.
