2023 Hero Passion Plus leaked ahead of launch

The 2023 Passion Plus will comply with the recently introduced OBD-2 and BS6 Phase 2 norms.

Last week we reported that Hero MotoCorp was planning a new product offensive in the next 2-3 months. The bike maker has lined up at least five new models, which includes the Passion Plus.

The first images of the upcoming Passion Plus have leaked online. These images are from a dealer event that was held sometime back.

The Passion Plus was discontinued following the rollout of the BS6 emission norms. Since then, Hero has been selling the Passion Pro with a 110cc single-cylinder engine. The Passion Plus will also bring back the sloper engine – a 97.2cc, air-cooled unit that makes 8 BHP and 8 Nm.

In terms of design, the new Passion Plus looks quite familiar. It has a slightly reworked cowl, a single-piece seat with a grabrail and a redesigned taillight. The bike rides on black alloy wheels and is equipped with conventional telescopic fork suspension up front with dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The 2023 Passion Plus will get a combined braking system (CBS) and will comply with the recently introduced OBD-2 and BS6 Phase 2 norms.
