Production of the updated Skoda Kodiaq has commenced at the VW Group's Aurangabad facility. The SUV will be formally launched in January 2022.
The updated Kodiaq gets a few cosmetic changes on the outside. These include a revised front grille, headlamps and a new front bumper. It also gets some minor updates to the rear.
Skoda might offer the updated Kodiaq in Sportline trim as well. This variant will get a slightly sporty treatment featuring a black grille, black ORVMs and window trim, black roof rails, alloy wheels and a black rear spoiler.
The Kodiaq facelift is expected to use the same 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine that is offered in the Octavia and Superb. This engine produces 187 BHP and is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system.
