2022 Honda NT1100 revealed for international markets

The 2022 Honda NT1100 uses the CRF1100L Africa Twin's engine. For the transmission, there is a 6-speed manual as well as Honda’s DCT.

Honda has revealed the 2022 NT1100 for the international markets. It is a touring motorcycle based on the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin.

The 2022 Honda NT1100 is powered by a 1,048cc, 8-valve, parallel-twin engine that produces 100 BHP @ 7,250 rpm and 104 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. It has a 270-degree phased crankshaft. For the transmission, there is a 6-speed manual as well as Honda’s DCT.

In terms of electronics, the 2022 Honda NT1100 has Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Wheelie Control, three default riding modes (Urban, Rain, Tour), and two customisable riding modes. The touring motorcycle also features a 6.5-inch TFT touch screen that offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The 2022 Honda NT1100 uses the CRF1100L Africa Twin's steel, semi-double cradle frame with a bolt-on aluminium subframe. The suspension setup includes 43 mm Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa mono-shock at the rear. The braking setup includes 310 mm twin discs with radially-mounted calipers upfront and a single 256 mm disc at the back. ABS is also present.
