2021 Yamaha R15 to be launched on September 21

The 2021 Yamaha R15 and R15M are expected to be powered by the same 155cc engine.

Yamaha is gearing up to launch the 2021 YZF R15 on September 21.

The 2021 R15 range comes with redesigned bodywork that's inspired by the YZF-R7. The twin headlamps have been replaced with a single projector unit that is flanked by LED daytime running lights.

Yamaha will also introduce the R15M. This variant is expected to come in a silver and black paint scheme, while the standard bike will be offered in blue and MotoGP colour schemes.

Both the R15 and R15M are expected to be powered by the same 155cc, single-cylinder engine. It will be paired with a 6-speed transmission via a slipper/assist clutch.
