2021 Triumph Speed Twin teased ahead of global debut

The new Speed Twin is said to offer better performance and improved handling.

Triumph has released a teaser image of the 2021 Speed Twin. The bike is set to make its global debut on June 1, 2021.

The teaser reveals a silhouette of the bike and gives us a peek at its twin-pod instrument console and circular LED headlamp.

According to Triumph, the new Speed Twin will offer better performance and improved handling, which suggests that its 1,200cc parallel-twin engine could be updated. The bike could also receive minor modifications on the chassis side.

The outgoing version of the Speed Twin uses a 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 96 BHP @ 6,750 rpm and 112 Nm of torque @ 4,950 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
