2021 Suzuki Hayabusa India launch confirmed for April 2021

Suzuki had released a teaser video confirming the Hayabusa's India launch last month.

Suzuki is gearing up to launch the third generation Hayabusa in India later this month.

The new Hayabusa made its global debut in February this year. Last month, Suzuki had released a teaser video confirming its India launch.

The Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc, 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine gets lighter pistons, new connecting rods and fuel injectors among a host of other upgrades.

The superbike receives an updated fairing and is 2 kg lighter than its predecessor. It gets a revised instrument cluster with an LCD screen in the centre, launch control, Active Speed Limiter and cruise control.

The Hayabusa comes equipped with a new slip and assist clutch, Brembo Stylema brakes, 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a) which includes Power Mode Selector, Engine Brake Control System, Anti-Lift Control System, Motion Track Traction Control System and Bi-Directional Quick Shift System.
