Honda has released teaser images of the next generation HR-V. The new crossover will be officially unveiled next month.
A teaser image partially reveals the rear end of the new HR-V. It gets slim tail lamp clusters and a coupe-like roof line that has an integrated spoiler at the rear. The images also reveal the car's panoramic sunroof and its dual-tone dashboard that has a touchscreen infotainment head-unit with smartphone connectivity.
According to the spy images, the new HR-V will get slim LED headlamps and a more rounded front fascia. The rear door handles are located on the C-pillars just like the outgoing model.
In the international market, the HR-V will be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with eHEV hybrid technology. It puts out 203 BHP and 380 Nm.
Honda was evaluating the current generation HR-V for India, however, the carmaker has now shifted its focus to the brand new sub-4 meter SUV that is expected to be launched in 2022 or 2023.
