2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour launched at Rs. 37.20 lakh

The bike is available in two variants – Manual Transmission priced at Rs. 37,20,342 and Dual-Clutch automatic with Airbag that costs Rs. 39,16,055 (ex-showroom).

Honda has launched the 2021 Gold Wing Tour in India. The bike is available in two variants – Manual Transmission priced at Rs. 37,20,342 and Dual-Clutch automatic with Airbag that costs Rs. 39,16,055 (ex-showroom). It will be imported via the CBU route.

The Honda Gold Wing is a high-performance touring bike. It is equipped with dual LED headlights and fog lamps with an adjustable electric windscreen at the front. It comes with a stepped seat wrapped in leather and a pillion backrest that can be adjusted from 16 degrees to 23 degrees. The bike gets panniers and luggage box that have a total storage capacity of 121 litres. The bike's fuel tank capacity is 21.1 litres.

The Gold Wing Tour is based on a die-cast, aluminium twin-beam frame. It features double wishbone suspension at the front and a Pro-Arm swingarm at the rear. The bike uses patented steering cross tie-rods that connect the handlebars to the front axle and the handlebar pivot.

The Gold Wing Tour is powered by a 1,833cc, liquid-cooled, 6-cylinder engine that produces 125 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that comes with creep forward and reverse functions. The engine has 4 riding modes – Tour, Sport, Econ and Rain. The suspension also has 4 settings for preload – single rider, rider with luggage, rider with pillion and rider with pillion fully loaded with luggage.

The bike uses a Throttle by Wire system and comes with a Dual Combined Brake System, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Integrated Starter Generator, Idling Stop (DCT only) and Hill Start Assist.

While the Gold Wing Tour MT is available in a Pearl Glare White shade, the DCT + Airbag variant is offered in a Gunmetal Black Metallic with Morion Black colour.
