2020 Auto Expo: Maruti Ignis facelift pre-bookings open

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the Ignis facelift in India. The carmaker has also started accepting pre-bookings for the car.

The updated Ignis gets a new grille with U-shaped chrome inserts, LED projector headlights with U-shaped LED daytime running lights, new bumper and skid plate. At the rear, the car gets a bumper with a silver skid plate and reflectors as well as a roof spoiler. The car rides on black alloy wheels.

The new Ignis comes with dual-tone ivory interiors and blue highlights. It also gets a new seat fabric pattern. The car is equipped with a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system.

The Ignis is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine. The engine will be offered with a choice of manual and automated manual transmissions.

The Ignis facelift will be available in two new colour options - Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue apart from colours like the Nexa Blue, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Pearl Arctic White. Dual tone colour options include Lucent Orange with Black Roof, Nexa Blue with Silver Roof and Nexa Blue with Black Roof.
