2019 Hyundai Santro updated with new features

Hyundai has made some changes to the variants and features of the new Santro. A leaked image indicates that car may no longer be offered in Era trim.

The base D-Lite variant is now called Era Executive. It comes equipped with front power windows, air-conditioning, body coloured front bumper and dual-tone rear bumper.

The Magna Petrol Manual and Magna CNG variants get a 2-DIN audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, front speakers, micro antenna and steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls.

The Sportz AMT variant gets passenger side airbag, seat belt pre-tensioners for front seats and rear view camera. No changes have been made to the Sportz, Sportz CNG, Magna AMT and Asta variants.

The second generation Santro was launched in October 2018. It is powered by a 1.1-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 99 Nm of torque @ 4,500 rpm. On CNG, the engine produces 58 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 84 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
