2016 Hero Splendor Pro spied without camouflage

Hero MotoCorp is readying the 2016 Splendor Pro for launch. The commuter motorcycle gets revised styling and could also get a Hero engine in place of the old Honda unit.

Images indicate that the Splendor Pro gets a redesigned clear lens headlamp with a new cowl and windscreen, clear lens turn indicators, a redesigned fuel tank, redesigned side and rear panels, new tail lamp and a silver grab rail. The luggage rack at the rear has been dropped. The bike continues to have a telescopic fork front suspension and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Other features include 5-spoke alloy wheels, drum brakes, a saree guard, single contoured seat and a fuel knob with plastic cladding.

The bike has a three-pot instrument cluster with silver bezels. It consists of a round analogue speedometer in the centre with an integrated odometer, various indicator lights to the left and a fuel gauge to the right.

The 2016 Splendor Pro is likely to be powered by a new single cylinder, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 100/110cc. At the moment, there is no information on the power and torque that this engine produces.
