Mileage has been a mixed bag, but it is terrific while cruising at 85-95 with cruise control. I’ve even touched 19 kmpl on XP95.

Quick update as my Kushaq crosses 12k and is going in for its 1st service (oil change).
Usage: NH and state highways account for majority of the running (say 70%) - mostly in the Kochi Bengaluru route.
Lowlights:
- Had a small accident where the bumper has a slight dent. Haven’t got this changed as the dent is minor and hardly visible (although the bumper has a 1 inch tear)
- Got the alloys nicked slightly in the infamous Bengaluru roads (tip: don’t ever use your car in Tannery road)
- Had a squeaking sound from the rear brakes. ASC fixed it claiming it was “brake cleaning “. While this didn’t affect the brake performance, it was annoying as hell. This is different from the squeal at creep speed, which remains.
- Minor squeaks from the dash area remain. Driver side window, despite a fix from ASC behaves as it pleases.
- AC cooling is mostly subpar (decent enough for me though). But on longer drives, the cabin becomes a tad too chilled at 22-23 degrees after 2+ hrs
- Interior plastic quality is bad and the scratching sounds from our nails or anything rubbing against the door side is irritating.
Highlights:
- Everyone who drove the car loved it!
- Mileage has been a mixed bag, but it is terrific while cruising at 85-95 with cruise control. I’ve even touched 19 kmpl on XP95. My last trip helped me touch 15.2 kmpl including some Bengaluru city drives (without AC), ghats and highways.
- The paddles, sport mode, brake bite are so engaging with a good rush of power, I’m finding it hard to drive other lesser powerful vehicles.
Happy motoring!
