Whom the Toyota Hyryder is suitable for: Owner's views after 40,000 km

Most of the daily drive has been to mountainous sections of Kerala (Wagamon) during the last few months. So the average fuel efficiency has reduced to a little under 20 km/l.

BHPian KurianMathoor recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Hello everyone. Here is a small update on Toyota Hyryder after completing 40,000km and experience over the past 15 months.

Service History

  • 13/01/2023- 997 km (Free Service)
  • 21/02/2023- 5056 km (Free Service)
  • 20/04/2023- 9737 km (Rs. 3,136)

  •  16/07/2024- 39200 km (Rs. 5,779)

Mileage in hill stations

Most of the daily drive has been to mountainous sections of Kerala (Wagamon) during the last few months. So, the average mileage has reduced to a little under 20kmpl.

Tyre Condition

Tyres are good for another 10,000 km and then I am planning to upgrade to 225/60 R17.

This vehicle is suitable for someone if:

  • Monthly travel exceeds 1200km
  • You are not ready for an EV but want a fuel-efficient car
  • Minimal service cost
  • Excellent Toyota Service Backup
  •  Less boot space is not an issue
