VW Tiguan Allspace to replace 5-seat Tiguan in India

According to a media report, Volkswagen is likely to replace the Tiguan with the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace in India.

The Tiguan Allspace is expected to be imported as a completely built unit (CBU). It is rumoured to be launched by mid-2020.

The report also states that the Tiguan Allspace is expected to come equipped with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights and a panoramic sunroof. On the inside, it could get a digital instrument cluster, 3-zone automatic climate control, Vienna leather seats, touchscreen infotainment head-unit and keyless entry. The SUV is also likely to get 7 airbags, ABS, ESP, tyre pressure monitoring system and rear view camera as standard.

The Tiguan Allspace is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 187 BHP. It is likely to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
