Volkswagen Vento Preferred Edition launched

Volkswagen has launched the Vento Preferred Edition in India. This special edition is available in the Comfortline trim level, with all powertrain options (MPI, TSI, TDI and TDI DSG). Vento Preferred has reportedly been priced Rs 50,000 over the standard variants, and is available at all Volkswagen dealerships across India.

The Vento Preferred Edition comes with added features like alloy wheels, blacked out roof, black side moulding and roof rails. On the inside, the special edition model gets leather seat covers, a portable navigation device and a wireless reverse parking camera.

No mechanical changes have been made to the Preferred Edition. It is available with three engine options - a 1.2-litre TSI petrol, a 1.6-litre MPI petrol and the recently updated 1.5-litre TDI diesel. There are two transmission options on offer - a 5-speed manual (with the MPI and TDI engine) and a 7-speed DSG (with the TSI and TDI engine).
