The Volkswagen Taigun could get ADAS features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
What appears to be steering mounted controls for these functions and their indicators on the digital instrument cluster can be seen in the interior pictures released by Volkswagen. The SUV could also get a park assist feature.
The Taigun will also come equipped with features like wireless charging, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The Taigun will be offered with a choice of two turbo-petrol engines. These include a 1.0-litre TSI motor rated at 113 BHP / 175 Nm and a 1.5-litre unit producing 148 BHP / 250 Nm. Both engines will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.0L engine will get an optional 6-speed automatic, while the 1.5L engine will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option.
