Volkswagen T-Roc launched at Rs. 19.99 lakh

Volkswagen has launched the T-Roc in India at a price of Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).

The VW T-Roc features a hexagonal grille with chrome inserts and LED headlights. It gets a dual-tone front bumper with an integrated skid plate and houses a pair of fog lamps and LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the SUV gets wraparound tail lights and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors. The car rides on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

On the inside, the T-Roc comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, digital instrument cluster, 2-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof.

In India, the T-Roc is offered with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 148 BHP @ 5,000-6,000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1,500-3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The T-Roc comes equipped with safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, ESC and tyre pressure monitoring system.
