Volkswagen India asks dealers to halt deliveries of Polo

Volkswagen India has instructed its dealers to stop deliveries of the Polo with immediate effect.

In a letter addressed to its dealers, Volkswagen has prohibited them from delivering any variant of the hatchback to customers till further notice.

The reason for this step is not clear at the moment. However, the company has stated that it has nothing to do with the infamous emission scandal that has hit the German carmaker recently.
