Volkswagen announces a price hike of 2% across all models

Earlier this week, Mahindra silently increase the prices of its model range as well.

Volkswagen has announced that the prices of its models will be increased by up to 2% from October 1, 2022.

According to the company, prices are being increased due to rising input costs. The quantum of the price hike for each model will be disclosed at a later date.

Volkswagen currently offers the Taigun, Virtus and the Tiguan in India. The carmaker recently introduced the Taigun 1st Anniversary Edition.

Volkswagen isn’t the only carmaker to announce a price hike. Earlier this week, Mahindra silently increase the prices of its model range as well.
