Updated Toyota Yaris (dual-tone) launched at Rs. 8.65 lakh

Toyota has updated the Yaris sedan with new features. It also comes in an optional dual-tone colour scheme. It comes in two new trim levels - J Optional and V Optional and prices start Rs. 8.65 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The updated Yaris comes with a dual-tone exterior with gloss black finish for the grille and ORVMs and comes with diamond cut alloy wheels. On the inside, the Yaris gets leatherette seat upholstery, centre console box and leather wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob.

The Yaris is offered with features such as cruise control, keyless entry, rain sensing wipers, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, rear sunshade, roof mounted air vent with ambient lighting, reverse camera and rear seat arm rest with cup holder. The car also gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has MirrorLink connectivity, navigation and gesture control.

The Yaris is available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 106 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT with paddle shift.

V Optional MT - Rs. 11.97 lakh
