Updated Maruti Ignis launched at Rs. 4.79 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Ignis at prices starting at Rs. 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2019 Ignis comes with new safety features such as Reverse Parking Assist System, Co-Driver Seat Belt Reminder and High Speed Alert System as standard across all variants. It also gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt pre-tensioners with force limiters and ISOFIX child safety seat anchors. 

The only cosmetic change made to the Ignis is the addition of roof rails that are available on the Zeta and Alpha variants.

The new Ignis is powered by the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm and comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.

The new Ignis is available in 9 colour options including 3 dual-tone choices - NEXA Blue, Glistening Grey, Silky Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Tinsel Blue and Uptown Red, Tinsel Blue with Pearl Arctic White, Tinsel Blue with Midnight Black and Uptown Red with Midnight Black.
