TVS iQube Electric e-scooter launched at Rs. 1.15 lakh

TVS has launched its first electric scooter called the iQube Electric. It will be available in Bangalore from January 27, 2020 and is priced at Rs. 1.15 lakh (on-road). The booking amount is set at Rs. 5,000.

The iQube Electric features a slim LED headlamp flanked by turn indicators, LED tail lights and an illuminating logo. It is equipped with the TVS SmartXonnect platform and comes with a TFT instrument cluster.

The TVS iQube app has features such as Geo-fencing, Remote Battery Charge Status, Navigation Assist, Last park location, Incoming call alerts/SMS alerts among others.

The e-scooter also comes with Q-park assist, riding modes - economy and power, day and night display and regenerative braking.

The iQube Electric is powered by a 4.4 kW electric motor. The scooter is claimed to accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 78 km/h. TVS claims a maximum range of 75 km on a single charge.
