Triumph Street Triple R to be launched on August 11

The Triumph Street Triple R will be launched in India on August 11, 2020.

The Street Triple R is powered by a 765cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 114 BHP @ 12,000 rpm and 77 Nm @ 9,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission that comes with a quickshifter. The bike rides on adjustable Showa suspension and is equipped with Brembo brakes.

The Street Triple R is naked street bike. It features a twin-headlamp setup with integrated LED daytime running lights and has a digital instrument cluster.

The Street Triple R will be positioned below the Street Triple RS, which was launched in April this year. The latter uses the same 3-cylinder engine but it produces 121 BHP and 79 Nm. It is priced at Rs. 11.13 lakh (ex-showrom).

The Street Triple R will compete with the Kawasaki Z900, KTM 790 Duke and the BMW F 900 R in the Indian market.
