Triumph Scrambler 400 XC spied testing in India

The Scrambler 400 XC is likely to be positioned above the standard model.

Triumph is all set to introduce a new variant of the Scrambler 400 in India called the ‘XC’, which, in the brand’s parlance, is a more off-road capable machine.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC was recently spotted testing without any camouflage. It will feature a two-tone paint scheme, cross-spoke wheels with a raised front fender, and a rugged metal bash plate.

The Scrambler 400 XC is expected to be powered by the same 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the standard model. This unit puts out 39.5 BHP and 37.5 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Scrambler 400 XC is likely to be positioned above the standard model. It also means that the upgrades will come at a premium.
