Toyota Yaris gets G Optional variant

Earlier this week, Toyota launched the updated Yaris. The car is available in a dual-tone colour scheme. In addition to J Optional and V Optional variants, the Yaris is also available in the G Optional trim.

The G Optional variant gets projector headlamps, chrome grille and ORVMs with integrated turn signals. On the inside, it gets roof-mounted air vent with ambient light, driver seat height adjust, engine start/stop button, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, rear reading lamp and automatic climate control. This variant gets dual front airbags and a driver side knee airbag.

The Yaris is available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 106 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT with paddle shift.
