Toyota has released a teaser of the upcoming Innova Hycross. The hybrid MPV is expected to make its debut in Indonesia, before going on sale in India and other markets.
The teaser image shows the front end of the Innova Hycross featuring a bold grille borrowed from Toyota’s global models. It is flanked by slim LED headlamp clusters.
The Innova Hycross has also been spotted testing in India, which suggests that it won’t be too long before the MPV arrives at our shores. It will be based on the TNGA-C monocoque architecture with a front-wheel drive layout for the first time.
Reports suggest that the Innova Hycross will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid, but there will be no diesel engine option. It is also said that Maruti Suzuki might offer a rebadged version of the MPV as part of its partnership with Toyota in India.
