Toyota Rumion launched at Rs 10.29 lakh

The Rumion is essentially a rebadged Maruti Ertiga. It is available in 5 petrol and one CNG variant.

Toyota has launched the Rumion in India. The MPV is a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and is available in six variants priced from Rs 10.29 lakh to Rs 13.68 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will commence on September 8, 2023.

The Rumion gets a few cosmetic changes to help differentiate it from the Ertiga. The MPV has a trapezoidal grille similar to the Crysta, a redesigned front bumper and new dual-tone alloy wheels.

The MPV is available in a 7-seat configuration and comes equipped with dual front airbags, side airbags, ABS with EBD, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

Powering the Rumion is the familiar 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 103 BHP and 138 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The Rumion also gets a factory-fitted CNG option.
