Toyota launches low-spec Yaris for Govt. fleets

The Toyota Yaris is now available on the Government e Marketplace (GeM), which is a dedicated online platform for government organizations, departments and Public Sector Units (PSUs).

The Yaris listed on the GeM is the J variant and is priced at Rs. 9,12,382 (Freight charges & taxes extra basis location). It is only available in Super White exterior colour.

The car comes with projector headlamps, dual-tone interiors with manual air-conditioning and is equipped with safety features such as 7 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist.

The Yaris is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 106 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
