Toyota has launched the Innova Crysta petrol in India, with prices ranging from of Rs. 13,72,800 to Rs. 19,62,300 (ex-showroom Delhi). The car is available in exclusive colours that include Garnet Red, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Avant-garde Bronze.
The Innova Crysta petrol is powered by a 2.7-litre, 4-cylinder, Dual VVT-i engine that develops 163 BHP and 245 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with a choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit. Toyota claims an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 10.83 km/l for the automatic and 9.89 km/l for the manual variant.
The manual transmission is available with the Gx and Vx trims, while the automatic is offered with the Gx and Zx variants. The Innova Crysta Gx is available with a 7 or 8-seater arrangement, while the Vx and Zx get only a 7-seater layout.
Variant-wise features of the Innova Crysta petrol are identical to that of the Diesel. The top-end Zx trim comes loaded with 7 airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill Start Assist Control (HSAC). Other safety equipment like ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, seat belt pre-tensioner & force limiter, and ISOFIX mounts are standard across all variants.
The new petrol variants will mark the Innova Crysta's debut in the Delhi-NCR market. Toyota was not able to sell the MPV in Delhi and NCR due to the diesel car ban imposed by the Supreme Court.
Deliveries of the Innova Crysta petrol will start from today, i.e. August 8, 2016. Variant-wise prices of the Innova Crysta petrol are as follows:
• Gx Manual - 13.73 lakh (Rs. 4,500 extra for 8-seater option)
• Gx Automatic - 14.83 lakh (Rs. 4,500 extra for 8-seater option)
• Vx Manual - 16.56 lakh
• Zx Automatic - 19.62 lakh
