Toyota to increase its car prices from April 1, 2021

Most carmakers will be increasing the prices of their models from the next month.

Toyota has announced that it will hike the prices of its models from April 1, 2021.

Toyota has stated that the prices are being increased as a result of rising input costs. While the company hasn't revealed the quantum of the price hike, it will try to absorb some of the costs and only a minimal portion will be reflected onto the prices, thereby minimizing the impact of rising costs on consumers.

Most carmakers will be increasing the prices of their models from the next month. Last week, Maruti Suzuki, Renault and Isuzu announced price hikes from April.
