Leaked images of the updated Toyota Hilux have surfaced online.
According to the images, the Hilux is likely to get a substantial redesign. The front end features a large hexagonal grille that has a chrome frame. The sweptback headlamps are believed to house bi-beam LED lights and LED daytime running lights. Lower variants are likely to get regular halogen lights with an integrated LED position lamp.
At the rear, the Hilux features wraparound LED tail lights and a dual-tone rear bumper. The high-mounted stop lamp is positioned on the tail gate just above the chrome handle. The images also suggest that the Hilux could be offered with 18-inch aluminium wheels, while the lower-spec model could get 17-inch aluminium wheels. The lower variants also miss out on the chrome grille.
One of the leaked images reveals the colour options that could be offered in the updated Hilux. The colour palette is divided into three categories. There are four 'Basic Colours' - Super White, Silver, Gray and Attitude Black. 'Regional Colours' include Oxide Bronze, Dk. Blue, Crimson Spark Red, Orange and Nebula Blue. The two 'Premium Colours' are Emotional Red and White Pearl.
