The upcoming Toyota Glanza has been spotted at a dealer stockyard ahead of its launch.
The Glanza is a re-badged Maruti Baleno. The spy images suggest that besides swapping the badges, Toyota hasn't made any major changes to the exterior of the car. The front features a twin-slat chrome grille with the Toyota logo, while the projector headlights have been carried over from the Baleno. The front bumper is also identical and features a large airdam with circular fog lamps on either side. At the rear, the car has chrome tail gate garnish and the same tail lamp clusters and bumper. The car seen here is the V variant.
Under the bonnet, the Glanza is expected to get a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine from the Baleno. It produces 83 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm and is likely to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox with a CVT available as an option.
