Toyota Glanza CNG engine specifications revealed

Its twin, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno will also get a factory-fitted CNG option

Toyota is planning to introduce a factory-fitted CNG option on the Glanza hatchback. Now, a Type Approval Certificate sheds light on the technical details of the CNG version.

The Glanza CNG will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the regular model. However, when running on CNG, the engine develops 76 BHP @ 6,000 rpm.

As per the document, the Glanza CNG is likely to come in three variants – S, G and V. A 5-speed manual transmission will come as standard across all variants.

The Glanza CNG is expected to be launched this festive season. Its twin, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno will also get a factory-fitted CNG option in the near future.
