Toyota Fortuner BS6 prices hiked

Toyota has hiked the prices of the Fortuner BS6. The SUV is now priced from Rs. 28.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The BS6-compliant Fortuner was introduced in February 2020. But, at the time launch, Toyota did not update the prices and was offering the SUV at old BS4 prices. Prices have now gone up by Rs. 48,000.

The Fortuner BS6 is available with two engine options. These include a 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 164 BHP @ 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The second engine option is a 2.8-litre diesel that makes 175 BHP @ 3,400 rpm and 420-450 Nm depending on the choice of transmission. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
