Toyota has revealed the Corolla Cross SUV for the South East Asian market.
The Corolla Cross is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). It measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width and 1,620 mm in height.
The design of the Corolla Cross seems like an evolution of the RAV4. It has a typical Toyota grille at the front, flared fenders and squared off wheel arches with black plastic cladding and L-shaped wraparound tail lights. The car seen in these images has maroon upholstery and blue ambient lighting. It has a floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit.
In the international market, the Corolla Cross will be available with two engine options. These include a 1.8-litre petrol unit producing 138 BHP and 175 Nm and a 1.8-litre petrol hybrid producing 168 BHP and 305 Nm. Both engines come with continuously variable transmissions (CVT).
