Top 10 best-selling cars in India - February 2021

7 of the top 10 cars sold in February 2021 were Maruti vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai continued to dominate the sales chart in February 2021. The list of the top 10 best-selling cars includes 7 models from the Maruti stable and 3 models from the South Korean carmaker.

The Swift replaced the Alto as the best selling car in the country with 20,264 units. It was followed by the Baleno, WagonR, and the Alto. Just like in January 2021, the Hyundai models in the top 10 list included the Creta, Venue and the Grand i10.

The top 10 cars sold in February 2021 are:

• Maruti Swift - 20,264
• Maruti Baleno - 20,070
• Maruti WagonR - 18,728
• Maruti Alto - 16,919
• Hyundai Creta - 12,428
• Maruti Dzire - 11,901
• Maruti Eeco - 11,891
• Maruti Vitara Brezza - 11,585
• Hyundai Venue - 11,224
• Hyundai Grand i10 - 10,270

The overall sales went up from 3,03,398 units in January 2021 to 3,08,593 units in February 2021.

Maruti has a market share of 46.91%, while Hyundai's share is 16.72%. Tata (8.82%), Kia (5.41%) and Mahindra (4.98%) complete the top five.
