Thailand: Isuzu D-Max facelift launched

Isuzu has given the D-Max pick-up truck a facelift in Thailand. The vehicle gets cosmetic as well as mechanical changes and additional equipment.

The D-Max gets new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, a redesigned grille, reworked tail lights and a revised front and rear bumpers. On the inside, the vehicle gets a new instrument cluster with a TFT MID, a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with IsuzuConnect and roof-mounted speakers.

The D-Max also gets a new 1.9-litre diesel engine and 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The engine produces 147 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. Isuzu claims it develops 10% more power and 9% more torque than the 2.5-litre unit it replaces. It is also 20% lighter than the old engine. Isuzu also claims that it is faster and more fuel efficient than its predecessor.

The D-Max is also available with a 3.0-litre diesel engine that puts out 175 BHP and 380 Nm of torque.
