Recently, Tata announced that the upcoming Gravitas 7-seater SUV would be called Safari. The carmaker has now released a teaser image of the front grille of the car.

The picture shows tri-arrow design elements like the ones seen on the grille of the Nexon. This detailing and the oval Tata logo, which sits in the centre, are both finished in chrome. A thick chrome strip running along the bottom merges into the slim DRLs. The headlights are placed further down.

The Safari is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. The engine could be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox
