Tata Nexon facelift spied; Curvv-inspired fascia revealed

The test vehicle had zero camouflage on the front, revealing its Curvv-inspired design.

The Tata Nexon facelift has been spotted once again. The latest spy shots reveal the car's front fascia in more detail.

Test mules of the Nexon facelift have started dropping some camouflage as we get closer to launch. This vehicle had zero camouflage on the front, revealing its Curvv-inspired design. The car gets a slim grille flanked by LED daytime running lights and a large trapezoidal air dam with headlights positioned in separate pods on either side.

The side profile of the Nexon has been retained though. While it has a more upright front fascia, the sloping roofline and the short rear overhang look familiar.

Inside, the Nexon will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo at its centre. The centre console will house a rotary drive mode selector and a stubby gearshift lever.

Under the bonnet, the Nexon facelift is rumoured to get Tata's new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 122 BHP and 225 Nm, which could be paired with a dual-clutch automatic. The crossover is also expected to get a 1.5-litre diesel engine option.
